Undergrad Campus Visit

At Biola, we recommend you tour the campus, visit a chapel and meet with a counselor. However, the campus visit is meant to be customized to meet your needs. Please provide us the following information, and make sure to tell us everything that we can do to serve you best.

If you are an organization wanting to visit us as a group, please schedule a group visit with us.

Our annual Missions Conference is March 20-22. There are no classes, chapel, faculty appointments.

Our spring break is March 4-8. There are no classes, chapel, faculty appointments, lunch with current student, or overnight stays.

We are closed on Friday, April 19 - no overnight on April 18.

Finals exams are the week of May 6 and there are no classes, chapel, or faculty appointments. The last week to spend the night on campus is the week of April 22. Please email carla.tipton@biola.edu with questions. Thank you!

Visit Planning Information

The campus tour will last one hour and 15 minutes. Incoming first-time freshman appointments are 30 minutes; transfer appointments are 60 minutes. Please allow at least 1-1/2 hours if you would like to visit a class (two-week notice required). Chapel (M,W,F at 9:30am) is approximately one hour. We will allow 30 minutes for faculty and coach appointments (advanced notice required).

Please allow at least four hours on campus for visits that include a number of requests. Once your visit has been finalized, we will send a confirmation email with all of the details. If you have questions, please call (562) 903-4752. Important: Rescheduling a visit that includes class visits and faculty appointments will require a new two-week notice.

Chapel Visit
Torrey Honors Institute
One week's notice needed.
The Torrey Honors Institute is the undergraduate honors program at Biola. Students from all majors are welcome to apply.
Class Visit
(Last week to visit a class is the week of April 29.)
Two week's notice needed.
Faculty Appointment
Two-week's notice needed. Faculty appointments are reserved for juniors, seniors and transfer students.
Last week to meet with faculty is the week of April 29.
SUMMER: Most academic departments are closed during the summer; however, we can check!
NURSING: If Nursing, please plan to visit on one of the dates where a Nursing Department tour is offered. These are the only dates where Nursing faculty may be available. (See next section for dates)

Coach Appointment
All coaches require that you submit an online recruiting form prior to appointment.
Would you like to schedule a One-On-One lunch with a current student?
This is for the visiting student only (no parents or siblings please) and not for overnight visits.
This is simply one-on-one lunch with a current student where the visiting student can ask questions about student life, dorm life, general academics, and more. We will not match students based on major. We will need a week's notice in order to coordinate.

Nursing Department Tour
Lim Center Tour
This tour is for students who will declare a science as their major.
Tours available Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:30pm.
Cinema and Media Arts Tour
This tour is for students who will declare the Cinema & Media Arts Bachelor's degree.
SPRING: Tours are Monday-Friday at 2pm

Attend a Sporting Event on campus

Visit Details

The Admissions Office is open weekdays from 8:00 am–4:30 pm, except holidays. An appointment with an Admissions Counselor will last 30 to 60 minutes and may include financial aid and admissions information. This is recommended for all Transfer Students and Juniors/Seniors in high school. The tour itself takes up to 60 minutes so don't forget to wear your walking shoes. If you live out of state or can't visit during the day, check out our visit events.
